Join Drs. Michael Winters and Alejandro Chaoul in a dialogue of humanistic-existential and contemplative perspectives.
Honoring the knowledge bases of both traditions, we can see our circumstances as doorways that can either disconnect us or help us to connect. Do we need to redefine our understanding of connection and of community? What is the role of community as a growth agent in a disarrayed world?
Enriched by our community, this conversation will be an opportunity to learn from each other. We will consider questions like:
How are we affected by COVID-19, and how can some of these experiences become growth agents, not just to cope in the present but also as we move forward?
What relationships have emerged or been reframed (e.g. college-age students returning home)? How de we renegotiate autonomy? How do we deal with our homes becoming co-working spaces?
What new forms of communication emerge, and how do e-platforms serve us both at work and with friends and family?
